The Battle of Vindor was a conflict involving the Imperium, Death Guard, and Emperor's Children in M41.[1]
During the battle, the Death Guard decided to allow the last survivors of the Vindorian garrisons to flee, thus allowing them to spread Nurgle's gifts of plague and despair. Unwilling to watch perfectly good slaves escape, however, their Emperor's Children allies moved in to attack the fleeing Guardsmen - only for the Plague Marines to bar their path. A furious battle then erupted between the followers of Nurgle and Slaanesh, while the diseased Vindorians scattered, taking Nurgle’s blessings with them.[1]
