The Blood Ruby held within the Death Mask of Sanguinius^[2]

The Blood Ruby^[1] is the name given to the stasis suspended blood of the Blood Angels' Primarch, Sanguinius, which is held within his relic Death Mask.^[2]

History

Along with the Primarch's feather held within the Reliquary of Amit, the two relics are the only sources of Sanguinius' blood that have not been adulterated, by being drunk by the Blood Angels' Sanguinary Priests. This makes both the relics, immeasurably precious to the Chapter.^[1]
