The Blood Scythe was the personal weapon of the venerated Necron Novokh Dynasty warrior Ultep. Forged from sanguiphagic starmetal alloys, a single cut from this War Scythe can siphon a torrent of blood from an opponent and allowed Ultep to win ten thousand duels. The warrior's end came however, when his body was completely destroyed by the untrammeled power of a rampaging C'tan. The Blood Scythe survived the encounter though and is still used by the Novokh Dynasty, to cut down its enemies in battle.[1]
