Calen Oberas
Veneratii Oberas, previously known as Calen Oberas, was a Contemptor Dreadnought of the Iron Hands Clan Morragul who took part in the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy.[1][2]
Oberas was once a Centurion of the Iron Hands who, like many other officers, had a flawed temperament that earned him rebuke and transfer to Clan Morragul under Ferrus Manus' harsh regime. During the Dropsite Massacre, Centurion Oberas fell in battle defending the Red Talon from a World Eaters boarding party during the Traitor ambush at Isstvan V.[1]
As part of Autek Mor's warband, Oberas was known to have taken part in the Gethsamaine Raid, where by this point he had been interred in a Contemptor Dreadnought to continue his service to Clan Morragul. His frenzied rampage through the ill-trained Gethsamaine troops is a testament to the consuming fury that engulfed many of the Gorgon's children after his death at lsstvan V.[1]
