Former Planetary Defence Trooper Lugo Dax assembles his old squad to carry out a daring heist at a Varangantuan high society function. With the assistance of the Vidora crime syndicate, they plan to steal a relic power sword, both for physical gain and revenge against the gilded who wronged them long ago – but is everyone within the crew loyal to the cause?
