Chrono-Weapons are a rare and powerful type of weapon.[1]

Chronoweapons manipulate time itself and are capable of causing catastrophic damage. Their temporal power can cause a target to freeze[2], crumble from entropy[3], or collapse into a black hole.[1] Chrono-Weapons are extremely rare and Human pieces of such technology are closely related to the Dark Age of Technology.[1]

Types of Chrono-Weapons

Human/Imperial

Chaos

The forces of Chaos can manipulate time through the powers of the Warp. These include the Chaos Mutation known as Temporal Distortion[17], Sword of Q'o'ak[18], and Daemon Weapons such as the Staff of Tomorrow.[19]

Necron

  • The Necrons have a wide range of chrono-weaponry as well as a whole technical field by its Crypteks known as Chronomancy. Chronomancer weapons include Timesplinter Cloaks, Chronometrons, Entropic Lances, and Aeonstaves.[10] The Cryptek known as Orikan is capable of creating temporal traps to manipulate time on a galactic level.[20]
  • Breath of the Gods - Known to the Eldar as the Caoineag. This device was created by the Necrons to feed the C'tan and was capable of siphoning energy of the stars in both the future and past. It was also capable of creating new solar systems by manipulating time. This device was incredibly dangerous and could potentially destroy the entire universe if used recklessly or maliciously.[6]
  • Smoking Mirror - A device used by the Cryptek Toholk capable of precise prediction.[11]
  • The Necrons use powerful stasis fields to great effect, as demonstrated in the collection of Trazyn.[9]
