Conoe

Conoe was a Swabian Fusiliers General, who turned upon the Imperium and joined Arch-Duke Holzhauer's Malouri Uprising.[1c]
History
This occurred on Malouri, after the Priest Eris Bellona learned of Cadia's destruction and became despondent. He believed the Imperium was now close to being destroyed, but he later wrote[1a] a thesis on how to save it. The key factor of this, was to return the Imperium to the age when Goge Vandire ruled over Mankind. For this to happen, a military leader would need to command purging Crusade to cleanse it. After reading the thesis, Lord Marshal Holzhauer declared himself to be that leader[1b] and convinced Conoe and General Kirkin to join him. This began the Malouri Uprising and Conoe commanded Regiments of the Swabian Fusiliers, Lethe Rifles and the Scarus Light, during the conflict. The rebels would later face the Cadian 101st, whose Colonel Sparker presented an overview of Conoe and the Uprising's other commanders. In Sparker's words, though the Swabian Fusiliers were solid Regiments, they were poorly led by Conoe in the defense of Lethe Eleven. In the Colonel's opinion, the General was responsible for the Imperium's loss of the world to an Ork invasion.[1c]
