Contagion Blade is a malignant relic weapon of the Chaos God Nurgle.[1]
History
Mortal legend claims the Blade was lost for aeons at the bottom of Nurgle's Great Cauldron. There it absorbed the essence of hundreds of the Chaos God's finest contagions before the weapon was finally recovered. Now only Nurgle's most favored Daemon servants are ever seen wielding the Contagion Blade and the merest scratch from its edge causes countless diseases to bloom within his foes. These then burst forth in a fulsome eruption of infectious gore and moistened spores, that are inimical to any unfortunate caught in the blast.[1]
