Cracia City
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Cracia City, or simply Cracia, is the oldest and largest city on the Imperial world of Pyrites.[1a]
Cracia is divided into areas known as warm zones and cold zones[1a]:
- The warm zones are wealthier areas of the city.[1c] During the winter season of Pyrites, warm air is funnelled up through Cracia's underlevels to heat areas of the city, creating the so-called warm zones. In addition, a low-level energy sheath protects the streets from rain and snow.[1a]
- The cold zones, by contrast, are said to be lawless.[1a] These areas of Cracia are poor and run-down with rampant crime. The Arbites garrison of Cracia does not maintain a presence here.[1c]
Notable Locations

- Vinchy Warehouse: A warehouse owned and used by the racketeer Vulnor Habshept kal Geel.[1e]
