Dacia (Ultramarines)
Dacia was a Veteran Sergeant in the Ultramarines Chapter's rebuilt First Company, following its destruction by Hive Fleet Behemoth in the Battle for Macragge.[1a]
After joining the First Company, Dacia took part in the successful defense of Ichar IV from Hive Fleet Kraken and later prepared to defend the Imperial worlds in the Vortengard Spiral from an Ork invasion. However, during their journey there, the Chapter received word that the Agri World Styxia Prime had been invaded by a tendril of Hive Fleet Gorgon. Though the Chapter was committed to aid the worlds of the Vortengard Spiral, Master of Sanctity Ortan Cassius was able to successfully petition Chapter Master Calgar to aid the Agri World. The Master of Sanctity was then charged with a one hundred strong strike force[1b] and Dacia was named as his second in command. After the strike force joined the other Imperium forces defending Styxia Prime[1a], the Hive Fleet was destroyed and afterwards the remainder of Cassius' forces joined their Chapter in the Vortengard Spiral. For his efforts in saving Styxia Prime, the Chapter made Dacia the Captain of the Ninth Company, but he soon died during his third battle with the Orks invading the Vortengard Spiral.[1c]
