The Daughter of Woe was the name of a gigantic Space Hulk that was dragged from the Warp by the Dark Mechanicum, during the Horus Heresy and was later unleashed upon the Imperium's forces in the Solar War. By that time, the Dark Mechanicum had heavily modified the Daughter of Woe for war, having installed engines, void shields and had carved numerous launch bays into its vast mass.^[1]
