Known Engagements
- Solar Rebellion — M32. Disputed Inquisitorial studies record the Death Eagles as participating in the suppression of waves of Traitor Legion-led Chaos cult uprisings across the western systems of the Segmentum Solar.[4]
- War of the False Primarch — 860.M33. Convened as part of the Pentarchy of Blood to enact the judgement of the High Lords of Terra, systematically destroying eleven chapters of the Adeptus Astartes judged Traitoris Perdita.[3]
Gene-Seed Origin
Although the Death Eagles are believed to trace their origins back to the Raven Guard through an indeterminate founding[1], they bear some similarities to a group of Emperor's Children active during the Horus Heresy. The 34th Millennial of the Legion, also known as the Death Eagles, remained loyal to the Imperium during the conflict while retaining the purple and gold colours of their Legion; their ultimate fate is unknown.[5]
