Dregmek

Dregmek was a Warlord who once commanded the Deathskulls' forces on Urk[1a] and ruled from the settlement of Rustspike.[1c]

History

It was where a severely wounded Ghazghkull Thraka was healed by the Mad Dok Grotsnik, which resulted in him becoming the Prophet of Gork and Mork. After his recovery, Thraka had sought out to unite the Orks of Urk under his command, by defeating their Warlords and Dregmek was the first to be challenged. Thraka claimed that Dregmek was an offense to their Gods, as he spent all his time fighting other Orks and squabbling over Human scrap left on Urk. Dregmek opened fire in response, but since Urk's sun was setting behind Thraka[1a] none of the fire hit him. Thraka then proceeded to charge Dregmek, despite him being heavily armed and armoured. This did nothing to help him against Thraka's fury, however, and Dregmek was mutilated, as a crowd of roaring Deathskulls Orks looked on[1b]. When the fight was done, Dregmek was left on the ground and was barely alive, after being taken apart. However when Thraka told him to stand up, Dregmek had the strength to do so, as the now silent crowd watched. Thraka then told them that Dregmek's reign was over and his began now, before he killed the Deathskulls Warlord with a massive headbutt. Dregmek's second-in-command, Bullets, had been watching the fight and he then took command of Urk's Deathskulls. Thraka offered him a chance to fight as well and though Bullets was tempted, he declined. The new Warlord somehow knew that if he served Thraka instead, then he would be able to take part in many grander battles. Thraka agreed and so Bullets and the Deathskulls were the first Orks to place themselves under Thraka's command.[1c]
