Dremmond was a flame-trooper of the Tanith First and Only regiment.[1a][2]

Biography

In the closing stages of the Siege of Vervunhive, Dremmond was one of thirty Tanith selected personally by Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt to take part in Operation Heironymo, the mission to infiltrate The Spike and assassinate Heritor Asphodel.[1b]

Later, when the regiment was deployed on Phantine, Dremmond was stationed aboard a drop-ship designated 2K as part of the assault on Cirenholm. However, on the approach to the city, drop-ship 2K was hit by enemy anti-air fire and brought down. The pilot was forced to make a crash-landing on the outside of Cirenholm's secondary dome; the ship made it to relatively secure ground thanks to the efforts of Commander Bree Jagdea of the Phantine Fighter Corps (who had survived being shot down herself earlier in the battle) but, as the Tanith were disembarking, 2K began to slide off the dome. While trying to get clear of the ship, Dremmond was injured and fell over, almost sliding off the dome himself. He was saved by Troopers Milo, who caught Dremmond before he fell, and Vadim, who pulled them both to safety.[3a][3b]
