Fire Support Squads are an organizational unit in a modern post-Primaris Space Marine Codex-Compliant Chapter.^[1]

Fire Support Squads provide covering fire to their Battleline and Close Support brethren, whether by assassinating key targets, suppressing the foe, or hunting enemy armour.^[1]

Fire Support Squad Types

Usually, Fire Support Squads specialize in heavy weapons; exceptions are noted below.

• Aggressor Squads^[1] (assault and close-combat weapons)
• Centurion Devastator Squads^[1]
• Devastator Squads^[1]
• Eradicator Squads^[2] (may specialize in assault or heavy weapons)
• Hellblaster Squads^[1] (may specialize in assault, rapid fire, or heavy weapons)
• Desolation Squad
• Vanguard Squads
