Synopsis

The Third Company of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter fight on the world of Geviox agianst Dark Eldar raiders. When Chaplain Elysius is captured by the Dark Eldar, he and the few brothers with him fight to survive. The Firedrakes of the First Company, led by Forgefather Vulkan He'stan, launch a daring rescue mission into the webway to recover the Chaplain and the artifact he bears with him. Meanwhile, a discovery is made about newly-appointed Lexicanum Dak'ir that has Chapter Master Tu'shan and Chief Librarian Vel'cona fearing for the Chapter, and Nocturne.
