Giulus Icaris is a Sergeant in the Ultramarines Chapter.^[1]

History

Before he achieved his current rank, Icaris was mentored by Sergeant Denaris. In M42, they were among the Ultramarines' forces that fought Plague Marines on Korvon 11 and fought side by side against them. However during the course of the battle, Denaris was killed when a Plague Marine's blade pierced his hearts. This caused him to drop his chainsword, which was then picked up by Icaris. Denaris' death was then avenged, when Icaris used the Sergeant's weapon to strike the Plague Marine down. In the battle's aftermath, Icaris claimed the chainsword as his own and named it Denaris' Vengeance, in honour of his fallen mentor. Sometime later, he would achieve the rank of Sergeant.^[1]
