Gladius Ad Umbra is a Torchbearer Fleet, that was dispatched to resupply the Lions Azure Chapter.[1]
History
As the Indomitus Crusade raged, the Fleet searched the Afqal Sub-sector for the Chapter, but was unable to find it. They did, however, unexpectedly make contact with the Wardens of the Philae, whose last three millennia of history closely resembled the Lions. So much so, that the Umbra's commander could not be certain if the Chapters were one and the same or not.[1]
