Grymzag is an Ork Death Skulls Warboss, who commands the Warp Lootas horde.[1]

History

They resided on the Space Hulk Herald of Misery before it was pulled from the Warp by the Daemon Vashtorr and changed into one of Abaddon the Despoiler's Arks of Omen. The Warp Lootas had been the dominate force before the Herald's capture and still considered the Ark as theirs, despite its changes. Abaddon truly owned it now, but granted the Herald and the other Arks to those who swore to aid the Despoiler in gathering artefacts known as Key-Fragments. Only those who could conquer the Arks would command them, however, and the Warp Lootas and other denizens of the Herald attacked any who tried to do so. Two Warbands were destroyed in attempting to do so, but the third was the powerful Warsmith Czagra.[1]

He commanded numerous Chaos forces, but Grymzag and the Warp Lootas fought the invaders throughout every section of the Herald. They posed the most cohesive danger to Czagra's chances to control the Ark, as the Warp Lootas had found and cobbled together all manner of mechanical treasures from the Herald, into strange clanking weapons. Grymzag and his horde also gleefully threw themselves into the Warsmith's Iron Warriors at every opportunity. This was both because the Chaos Space Marines were powerful foes and the Orks eagerly sought to relive the Iron Warriors of their wargear, power armor and cybernetics. When Czagra's initial plans to conquer the Herald failed, though, the enraged Warsmith gathered his surviving forces into one army and began systematically cleansing the Ark. The Warp Lootas still proved to be a threat to Czagra, but this ended when the Warsmith had his forces isolate Grymzag and the Orks into a section of the Herald, that was then sealed off. Though the Warp Lootas were now trapped, Czagra decided to deal with them later. The Warsmith was eager to fulfill his service to Abaddon the Despoiler, and began using the Herald to track down the Key-Fragment he had been charged with finding.[1]
