Hauberk Halfhand is the pitiless master of the House Cawdor gang, which operates in the Underhive of Necromunda's Hive Primus.[1]

History

Halfhand was inspired to create the House Cawdor, after being struck by an House Orlock bullet in the Underhive. It shattered his spine and left Halfhand near death's door and for days all he could do was stare into the abyss Hive Primus' bottom depths. He did so for so long, that the abyss stared back and in the depths of his despair, Halfhand realized one thing: only the broken can fully understand the faith of Redemption. This realization led Halfhand to gather himself and begin crawling to a settlement. Once he reached one, Halfhand gathered to himself the mangled cast-offs from other Cawdor gangs and then had his body stitched back together. Now born anew, Halfhand created the House Cawdor, which have since become a scourge upon Hive Primus. They destroy everything and anyone in their path, so those struck by them might be welcomed into the faith of Redemption. This also applies to Broken Ones' captured foes, who are then given a choice: have their bones and bodies smashed by Halfhand, so they might join his gang or instead embrace the finality of the void.[1]
