The Heart of Destruction was a Leman Russ Conqueror in service with the Eighth Pardus Armoured regiment.[1a]
History
The Heart was commanded by Major Kleopas during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade. It saw action on Hagia as the flag-armour of the honour guard assigned to retrieve the remains of Saint Sabbat when Lord General Lugo ordered the evacuation of the planet.[1a]
When the honour guard arrived at the Saint's Shrinehold, their exit route was blocked and the Imperials were forced to defend themselves against a massive horde of the Infardi. In the fighting, the Heart of Destruction was badly damaged by enemy armour, resulting in the tank's entire crew dying in a fire that consumed the Heart's innards.[1b]
