The Heralds of Despair are a Death Guard Warband.^[1]

The Warband revel in prolonged sieges and are obsessively methodical in their approach to warfare. During a battle the Heralds of Despair will do all they can, to seal an enemy force inside a fortress and watch as rot and hopelessness take hold of their enemies.^[1]
