Hormoth III was a Thane of Necromunda's House Cawdor, who claimed to have received a vision from the Emperor in 741.M40.[1]
History
In the vision, the Emperor told Hormoth to dig within an area located between Necromunda's Dust Sea and the ruins of Hive Bellium. The Thane did as he was told and after an eventful journey, and the loss of hundreds of his followers, Hormoth reached the location described in the vision. He then began digging and unearthed a strangely glowing bone fragment, which was said to be from Saint Valdorus. Hormoth then proudly wore the bone around his neck, until he mysteriously died soon afterwards.
