History
The House hails from the volcanic and inhospitable world of Slestra. What little landmass exists is home to a hardy population which were prime recruitment material for the Solar Auxilia and Knight House alike. Much of the House's early history were spent culling lava-dwelling quadrupedal bioforms that bred in the molten wastelands. Nobles of the House rose through the ranks through their hunting prowess and blood sports with their rivals. This outlook and culture made it a perfect compliment to the Legio Vulpa, who became their patrons after Anvillus established ties with Slestra during the Age of Strife. The pact was only agreed upon after a brief war that saw Hyboras seize an Anvillus fleet and invade the Forge World itself, only to be defeated by the might of the Legio Vulpa. By the time of the Heresy they maintained 120-140 Knights, with a preference towards Knight Errants, Knight Gallants, and Knight Lancers.[2]
During the Heresy the House remained true to the Legio Vulpa and followed Warmaster Horus. They fought beside Legio Vulpa and Legio Fureans in the Battle of Beta-Garmon.[1]
