House Indra was a Knight House of the Imperium during the Horus Heresy.

Overview

Hailing from Molech's Tazkhar Steppes, the House drew its population from the swamp people known as the Indarii. It is said that before the coming of the Emperor, Indra was assigned to carry the colors of the High King of Molech before eventually becoming independent and forming their own House following the last High King's death. They set a path into the dangerous southern swamps of Molech, establishing a new settlement. Over time, their bloodline was polluted by the fen tribes who ruled the swamps before them. However they never forgot that they once held the standard of the High King. Many traditions lost on the rest of Molech lived on in the House, such as the Carnival of Killers or the Courts of the Bladedancers. They eventually became known as the 'Mad House' due to their bizarre practices.^[2]

The House was ultimately destroyed in the Traitor Invasion of Molech itself during the Horus Heresy.^[1]
