Irik Stianolf
Irik Stianolf is the current High Jarl of the Wolfspear.[1]
Biography
Stianolf first won the respect of his pack-mates when fighting as a Greyshield within the Indomitus Crusade. During this time he was known to be sparing with words but always at the head of ambushes and precision operations, displaying an uncanny ability to direct those around him and execute encirclements and kill missions. Irik himself attributes these skills to the hunting traits innate to the sons of Leman Russ. In time, Irik Stianolf was the first Jarl to be raised to the position of High Jarl. His nomination came as the Chapter first prepared to pass through the Nachmund Gauntlet into Imperium Nihilus.[1]
To those outside the Chapter, Stianolf is known to be an unsettling character who draws unnatural sustenance from the fear of his foes. In truth, he simply vows the torment of his enemies as means to an end and derives no pleasure from such actions.[1]
