Cover Description[1]
The great Captain Lysander of the Imperial Fists recounts the deeds from his Chapter's history, using them to teach a group of aspirants about the meaning of war and sacrifice. Through the example of the Valican Pass where Siculus mustered his Scouts to protect a band of refugees to the Granite Sprawl where Hamander made a last stand against the Eldar and lastly, on Xanatar, when Chaplain Belisar came face to face with a renegade. Each of these great heroes faced a choice and only through understanding their deeds can new heroes be forged and the legacy of the Chapter live on.
