Iron Forge

The Iron Forge was a large chamber located on the Imperial battleship Fist of Iron which served as the headquarters of the Iron Hands Adeptus Astartes Legion.^[1]

During the years of the Great Crusade, the Primarch Ferrus Manus often resided within the Iron Forge. The Iron Forge was forbidden to anyone else except those closest to Manus - his fellow Primarch brothers. It contained a number of wondrous creations shaped by the silver hands of Manus, including a gun which was to be a gift to Vulkan of the Salamanders Legion.^[1]

Much of the contents of the Forge were damaged when Fulgrim of the Emperor's Children attempted to sway Manus to Warmaster Horus's side against the Emperor of Mankind. The two battled and, although Manus ultimately lost, he was spared by Fulgrim before he departed. In a fit of rage, the Iron Hands Primarch let loose his anger against the Iron Forge itself which was badly damaged as a result.^{[Needs Citation]}
