Kelmer
Kelmer was a bellicose nobleman, who was once the Groupmaster of Indomitus Crusade Fleet Quartus' Battle Group Forthrax.[1]
History
This ended, though, when he advanced upon the Chaos-held Stygion System, where Kelmer's advisors counseled he take a cautions approach to it. However after winning a string of increasingly improbable victories over the Ysmar Sub-sector's Cults, Kelmer refused to do so and ordered a full-scale attack on Stygion. This allowed the Battle Group to fall victim to an ambush by the Alpha Legion and Night Lords, who inflicted heavy causalities on Forthrax's forces. Kelmer was among those who were killed and DuGal took command of the Battle Group's remnants afterwards. While the Chapter Master was able to lead them out of the System, over a third of Forthrax's strength was lost to the Traitor Legions. This disastrous battle became known as Kelmer's Folly and was a black mark of shame upon Fleet Quartus' history.[1]
