Mandreth is an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, who discovered the body of his fellow Inquisitor Astor Sabbathiel in M42, after she had been thought to have been dead for almost century.[1]

History

This was once the Warp Storm that enveloped the Calaphrax Cluster had abated and allowed Mandreth to enter the Cluster. After finding Sabbathiel at its edge, the Inquisitor brought her to the Adeptus Mechanicus Magos Metik, along with Sabbathiel's Terminator Armour and the remains of her Acolyte Fitch. Mandreth believed the Magos' work and research could aid Sabbathiel, who he held in high regard, and he asked Metik to resurrect her. The Inquisitor also asked the Magos to turn Fitch's head into a Servo-skull, as he thought seeing her Acolyte would please Sabbathiel once she awakened. He then departed and Metik was able to resurrect Sabbathiel twenty-seven days, thirteen hours and nine seconds later. Once she had recovered enough, the Magos explained how Mandreth had discovered her and Metik's success in resurrecting her. After hearing this, Sabbathiel remarked that she did not know Mandreth and the Magos did not know anything about her rescuer either.[1]
