Manus was a flight engineer who served aboard Wing Captain Torten LaHain's Faustus Interceptor. He was killed when LaHain's interceptor was attacked by unknown vessels while on patrol in the Nubila Reach, after the ship's Astropath received a mysterious, top-secret transmission to relay to Crusade command.^[1]
