Master of the Watch^[3]

Master of the Watch is a class of Space Marine Master used by Codex Chapters given to Captains of the 2nd Company.^[1]

The Master of the Watch is heavily involved in system-wide defense and intelligence assessment of threats to their Chapter's homeworld. Regardless of how much a Chapter involves itself in the affairs of its home population, the Master of the Watch takes a keen interest in them.^[5]
