Meru is a planet that lies near the edge of the Yetzirah Abyss.[1]
It was once controlled by Xenos who were destroyed by the Imperium during the Great Crusade. Their destruction freed the human population that had been enslaved by the Xenos, and the Iron Warriors Legion later took Aspirants from the newly freed world. The most well known of these Aspirants taken from Meru was the Warsmith Kyr Vhalen.[1]
