Metis was a Techmarine of the Grey Knights Chapter, serving with the First Brotherhood.^[1]

Metis fought against the Lords of Decay in the Sturmhex Incident, piloting a Stormraven Gunship. During the battle, his craft was hit by a lascannon shot from a corrupted Razorback, causing it to crash, although Metis survived.^[1]
