Midgardia 144th
The Midgardia 144th is an Astra Militarum Regiment from Midgardia, which lays near the Space Wolves Chapter's Homeworld, Fenris.[1]
History
The Regiment was on a campaign when Midgardia was destroyed by the Thousand Sons, during their invasion of the Fenris System. Once the Midgardia 144th learned of their Homeworld's fate, they swore bloody revenge against the Daemon Primarch Magnus and his Traitor Legion. Since then, the Regiment has been noted to have been assisted by the Imperial Assassins Lenxa, Orpheon and the Black Gheist. The Legion of the Damned have also been reported to have come to the aid of the Midgardia 144th during battles.[2]
Description
Like all Regiments from Midgardia, the 144th bear symbols of wolves which represent the Space Wolves and signifies the close relationship between their two worlds.[1] Midgardia Regiments are also renowned for adorning their vehicles with trophies, such as skulls and bones.[3] In battle their Sergeants wield Fenrisian-style Power Axes.[1]
