Mordrina Soth was the leader of the Chaos Cult of the Exquisite Corpse, which briefly conquered Necromunda's Hive Prosperine in early M40.[1]

Her Cult's takeover of the Hive began with a workforce rebellion in a pharmaceutica plant, owned by House Escher, but Soth's actions caused dozens of similar events to occur in other sectors. The workers then became united under the charismatic Soth and soon Hive Prosperine's Palanite Enforcers were hard pressed to contain the increasing unrest they caused. While such worker rebellions were normally easily crushed, Soth's influence inexplicably spread uphive, when hundreds of so-called 'Brat gangs' – hedonistic scions of the Noble Houses – threw in their lot with the workers, seemingly just for the thrill of it. Then in a combination of unsurpassed political machination and, presumably, the blessings of the Chaos Gods, Soth was able to cast down the rulers of Hive Prosperine, in a single night of bloodshed.[1]

Afterwards, Soth established herself as the Hive's ruler and declared Prosperine to be a new society free of brutality and injustice. However, once word of this reach them, the other Hives of Prosperine's cluster began gathering their armed forces to reclaim the fallen Hive. Prosperine was then quickly laid siege to and the other Hives finally purged it of Soth's Cult of the Exquisite Corpse after 17 days. They discovered, though, that Hive Prosperine had been turned into a living nightmare under her control. The mutilated bodies of overseers and nobles were found hung and the Hive's walls were covered in the symbols of Chaos. While Prosperine was eventually able to be restored to order and repopulated, Soth's corruption has forever left its mark upon it. Even now it remains an ill-aspected Hive, where incidents of mutation and insanity run higher than average on Necromunda. What became of Mordrina Soth herself, is not known, but wherever Chaos Cults rise up on the Hive World against the rightful authorities of Necromunda, her name is ever on their lips.[1]
