Nasiem bal Tergu[3a]

Nasiem Bal Tergu is the Primaris Captain of the Tome Keepers Chapter's Third Company.[1]

History

Born Nasiem of Istrouma's House Tergu, he later became the only Aspirant of his cycle to pass the Tome Keepers Trial of Pages.[3b] Nasiem would then go on to become a First Company Terminator Sergeant, but at that time, the Chapter had suffered devastating losses both prior and after the creation of the Great Rift. The Tome Keepers had only a few hundred Battle Brothers left, when a Torchbearers fleet found them and gave the Chapter the gift of creating Primaris Space Marines and a large number of Greyshields. As the Tome Keepers began to rebuild themselves, Tergu was awarded the Captaincy of the reforged Third Company, which was composed mainly of Primaris. In order to better understand his new charges[1], Tergu was the first Tome Keeper to undergo the Rubicon Primaris and successfully emerged stronger than he was before.[3b]

He later took part in the Argovon Campaign, as part of the Indomitus Crusade's Task Force XI. As the war against the Necron raged, Tergu served in the Task Force's senior command staff as a representative of the Space Marines.[2]

Wargear

Tergu wields a power axe that is a heirloom of the Tome Keepers and was created thousands of years ago by his weaponsmith ancestors on the Chapter's Homeworld. Like all of the Tome Keeper's Battle Brothers, the Captain also carries with him a tome that recounts his life work's.[1]
