Navarre was an Emperor's Champion of the Black Templars, during the Age of Apostasy.[1]
History
During the Terran Crusade, Navarre took part in the assault on the Ecclesiarchal Palace alongside the Imperial Fists, Soul Drinkers, and Fire Hawks. During the battle, the Chapter Standard fell but Navarre managed to retrieve it and lead it through the breach in the palace walls. For the courage he demonstrated during the assault, he was decorated by the Imperial Fists' Chapter Master Lazerian.[1]
Canon Conflict
White Dwarf 312 (UK) states that Navarre was an Emperor's Champion[1], while Codex: Black Templars (9th Edition) says he was a Captain.[2]
