Nimbaros

Nimbaros was one of the three primary loft-cities of the planet Stratos.^[1]

When Stratos suffered from a Chaos Cult uprising instigated by the Dragon Warriors, Nimbaros was one of the Cult of Truth's main targets. For a time, the Cult had near-complete control of all three primary loft-cities. Nimbaros, along with its sister city, Cumulon, were retaken when the Cult pulled back to consolidate its hold on the planet's capital, Cirrion.^[1]

• Nimbaros, like the other two major loft-cities on Stratos, is possibly named for a type of cloud (in this case, Nimbostratus, also known as Nimbus).
