Orm Hendriksen is a Space Wolves Rune Priest[1a], who served in the Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane's Great Company[1b] before joining the Death Watch. However for the last 96 years, he has served in the retinue of the Radical Lord Inquisitor Falx, whose dubious standing with the Ordo Xenos matches Hendriksen's within the Deathwatch.[1a]

History

The two met in late M41, when Hendriksen's Kill-Team encountered a drunk Falx in a bar, while conducting a mission. The belligerent Lord Inquisitor swung at the Kill-Team's Sergeant, an action which would have led to her death had Hendriksen not intervened. Though he suspected Falx had done so because she wished to die, the Lord Inquisitor's continued boldness and audacity in face of certain death earned his respect. This led him to join Falx's retinue aboard the Severissimus Exactor‎, where he tried to prevent Falx from taking the type of Radical actions, that led to her low standing within the Ordo Xenos. However Hendriksen knows that once the Lord Inquisitor's mind is made up, there is little he can do but stand by her side and defend Falx from the fallout of her reckless decisions.[1c]

In M42, Falx added the Ogryn Cassia to her retinue, after it was discovered the Abhuman was a Psyker. Though this went against what was established by the Imperial Truth, Cassia's psychic powers were real and Hendriksen took on the role as a mentor to her. He was dedicated to ensuring Cassia made the best of her abilities and that the Ogryn did not fall to Heresy because of them. Though the two constantly sniped at each other, the Lord Inquisitor knew that any real enmity between them, was now buried under mutually developed respect[1a]. However while Hendriksen loyally serves Falx, his pride has prevented him from telling the Inquisitor that he is dangerously close to falling to the Space Wolves' Wulfen curse.[1b]
