Parsimus Dewain was a Rogue Trader and former Astra Militarum Colonel, who colonized the Koronus Expanse's world, Footfall in 410.M41.[1a]

History

Before that, he entered the Koronus Expanse with a small fleet, possibly in search for a world to build a palace city upon. Upon locating what would become Footfall, Dewain ordered his fleet to begin constructing my grand palace in the stars. It is believed that some of his followers who questioned the sanity of such an order were put to death. However they were not immediately killed and were instead sealed alive, within the walls of Footfall's rapidly expanding void settlement[1a]. In 498.M41, however, Dewain would die in his bed from natural causes. This was truly a remarkable feat given the quantity and quality of enemies the Rogue Trader had possessed. After his death, Footfall immediately became submerged in a struggle for political and economic control. At stake was a wealthy waystation and island of relative stability for explorers passing into the Koronus Expanse[1b]. Eventually the Recidivist Tarn Marvolus, would gain control and cause Footfall to enter the Reign of Blades.[1c]
