Possessed Engine
A Possessed Engine is a Chaos-aligned vehicle that has been possessed by a Daemon.[1]
Overview
Possessed Engines are created from vehicles that would otherwise be piloted by mortal crewmen. The rituals that bring them into being require large sacrifices of blood and souls, allowing a Daemon to be summoned and bound within a vehicle's sealed hull.[1]
In battle, Possessed Engines are able to withstand much more punishment than crewed Chaos vehicles. However, the bound Daemon doesn't serve willingly and there is a risk that it may turn the vehicle's weapons against its masters. Those Possessed Engines with transport capacities may even devour the troops that travel within them.[1]
Among the different tiers of Daemon Engines, Possessed Engines rank above Infernal Engines and below True Daemon Engines.[1]
