Revelations is the second volume of Warhammer 40,000 published by Titan Comics in August 2017,[4] collecting issues #5-8 from March[1] - June 2017.[3]

Description

The mighty ongoing series returns with a brand new arc! Featuring Eldar Harlequins and a Necron Tomb! Plus ritual and sacrifice for the space marines.[1]

Issue #5

The Calaphrax Cluster: cut off from the universe by a warp storm for ten thousand years, now once again accessible. Sent by Lord Azrael to cleanse the region, Baltus and his fellow Dark Angels Space Marines made planetfall on Exyrion, where they discovered an ancient artefact in a cavernous hive infested by twisted warpspawn. Forces of Dark Angels and the Knights of Tintaroth clashed with a speartip of Iron Warriors on Exyrion's surface, as the Chaos Space Marines pushed ever closer to the ancient, buried weapon. Baltus, the sole survivor of his squad, at last activated the weapon, scouring the surface with powerful energy. Barely alive in the rubble, Baltus witnessed a strange warrior, arrayed in ancient armour, helping a Chaos Space Marine to safety. Baltus, Altheous, and Sabbathiel now take some rare downtime before their next moves.[2a]

Issue #6

Baltus and his fellow Dark Angels are investigating the individual responsible for the Chaos infestation on Exyrion, where Baltus was forced to activate an ancient weapon and scour the planet. Two new fronts have opened in the battle for the Cluster - while Baltus and Altheous pursue a lead to a mysterious Space Hulk floating in orbit around Pandrosar, Sabbathiel follows her own investigation to the planet of Quintus, where an advance party of Eldar Harlequins have landed in search of a fabled lost Craftworld.[2b]

Issue #7

Baltus and Altheous are caught aboard a mysterious Space Hulk where time is out of joint - past and future flowing together and out of order, making the Khornate Chaos Marine shadowing them even more of a threat. Meanwhile, Sabbathiel and her crew are on a collision course with Dark Angels, Eldar, and newly-awakened Necrons alike on the planet of Quintus.[2c]

Issue #8

Aboard the Space Hulk Hyberian, where time and causality have been warped by Chaos, Baltus discovered the truth behind the Dark Angels mission. During the Horus Heresy, a rift formed in the ranks of the Dark Angels - and those who turned against the Emperor became known as the Fallen. To seek repentance and prove their loyalty to the Emperor, the Dark Angels must eliminate their kin. There is evidence that one of the Fallen has been orchestrating all of the events in the Calaphrax Cluster to date: the same dark-helmed Space Marine Baltus witnessed after the battle of Exyrion. On Quintus, Sabbathiel and her crew discovered ancient ruins that point towards the Dark Angels' heretical history - and a battle has erupted among Dark Angels, newly-awoken Necrons, and Eldar Harlequins.[2d]
