Sass
Sass is a Tempestus Scion of the Redemption Corps Company, who serves as the Adjutant to its Tempestor Prime Zane Mortensen.[1a]
Biography
He was born on Necromunda to a mother who was a Crystal Ersatz addict, which caused Sass to have prodigious mathematical abilities and indefatigable memory. After becoming a Stormtrooper, Sass used this ability to become a bottomless pit of Tactica protocol, field stratagems and strangely useful useless information. This made Sass an invaluable asset and when he joined the Redemption Corps, this ability led him to become the perfect choice to be Zane Mortensen's Adjutant. The Tempestor Prime would develop a soft spot for Sass, but he secretly thought the young Necromundan was wound tighter than tripwire.[1a]
Despite the Redemption Corps being an air-mobile Company, however, Sass never did combat drops due to his dislike of heights. He instead would his talents to coordinate the Redemption Corps' missions, and to come up with alternative strategies if need be, from within the aircraft they had jumped from.[1b]
