Say Your Prayers
Say Your Prayers was a Leman Russ Conqueror in service with the Eighth Pardus Armoured during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.[1a]
History
The tank was part of an Imperial honour guard commanded by Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt in the Hagia campaign of the Sabbat Crusade, charged by Lord General Lugo with retrieving the remains of Saint Sabbat from their resting place before Imperial forces were due to evacuate from the planet.[1a]
On the way up through the Sacred Hills, the honour guard encountered enemy armour. In a brief skirmish, Say Your Prayers was disabled when the tank was hit by a pair of Usurper guns, but its crew were able to get it running again.[1b] Later, after Gaunt decided to hold position and defend the Saint's remains from the attacking Chaos forces, Say Your Prayers was destroyed in the resulting battle.[1c]
