The Sceptre of Fallen Empires is a Black Templars relic.[1]
History
It is a rod of office, that is said to have been taken from a slain Xenos king of a vast galactic empire, during the Great Crusade. The Sceptre was later shattered and lost in the battles of the Age of Apostasy, but it was later recovered by the Black Templars. Now when the relic is carried at the head of Imperial armies, it signifies the futility of resistance and the righteousness of the Chapter's eternal crusade.[1]
