The Semythis System is a star system of Imperial space, located in the Pankallis Sub-sector of Ultima Segmentum.[1a][1b]
In M42, the Octarius War spilled out of the Octarius warzone into the Pankallis Sub-sector. In the course of the action, an ork horde led by Stugbrog da Facegrinda rampaged through the Semythis System, wiping out most of the system's Imperial defenders. Scattered Imperial resistance elements remain active in the system, however, partly because Stugbrog got bored after conquering the Fortress World of Kaist and moved off to attack the Kernak System instead.[1a]
