Sendennis is a Paradise World of the Imperium.[1]

Overview

Sendennis is located in the Eastern Fringe, at the very fringes of the Imperium's rule and is known to Nobles and Rogue Traders as a world of luxury. It is isolated as a result of its location, but still delivers its required tithes to the Imperial Guard, though its troops are considered soft and are of little worth on the battle field.[1]

History

Sendennis' Imperial Commander, Lord Nathaniel Bellasun, thought the world's isolation kept it safe from the predation of the Imperium's enemies, but was proven wrong when a warband of the Flawless Host arrived and demanded their surrender. Having no real defense of worth, Bellasun agreed and the Host took dominion of the world and began executing those citizens that did not match their definition of perfection. Bellasun found himself the next to be killed and bowed before Mindarus, leader of the warband, willing to do anything to save himself, when Space Marines of the Carcharodons Chapter suddenly appeared and began slaughtering the Chaos Space Marines. After the fighting was over, Bellasun started to thank his world's saviors, but was killed by the Carcharodons for bowing before the Flawless Host.[1]
