Shadow Weaver

The Shadow Weaver is an Eldar weapon similar in design to other Monofilament Weaponry. It creates a dense monofilament mesh from an organo-polymer compound, which is kept in a liquid state within a magnetic reservoir. This mesh is released through thousands of microscopic firing ducts and woven into a web-like cloud by spinning gravity clamps. The clouds are forced high into the air before they drift downwards, where they slice through flesh and bone even as targets caught within these clouds struggle to free themselves. This aspect of the Shadow Weaver makes them ideal for disrupting an enemy's attack and forcing them to seek shelter.[1][2]

The Shadow Weaver is a large weapon that is usually mounted on an antigravity Support Weapons Battery manned by a crew of two Guardians.[2]
