Sheol Platform

The Sheol Platform was one of the Valdez Oil Platforms, located in the southern ocean of Armageddon, somewhere due south of Hive Helsreach.^[1]

During the Third War for Armageddon, the platform was attacked and destroyed by the invading orks. Although the personnel on the platform attempted to warn Helsreach of the incoming attack, they were killed before the message could be sent.^[1]

Each Valdez platform, like many features of Armageddon, shares a name with a dark figure or place in religious mythology. In this case, Sheol is one of the realms of the dead in Islam.
